Different voices. Shared screens.

Just like Little 5 Points, our festival makes room for different voices, original ideas, and people who do things their own way.

We celebrate filmmakers of all backgrounds and champion voices too often overlooked. We’re building a community where you can share your work, meet people with different perspectives, and feel welcome.

Bring your perspective. We want to see what you’ve made.

Independent film belongs here

Little 5 Points has spent decades as a home for artists, independent businesses, and people who follow their own instincts.

Its indie theaters, record stores, street art, and neighborhood hangouts make it a natural home for independent filmmakers and artists. Time Out ranked it among the world’s coolest neighborhoods in 2020, and LoveExploring named it America’s coolest neighborhood in 2025.

We’re bringing that independent spirit to four days of films and conversations. Catch a screening, explore the neighborhood, and keep talking about what you’ve seen over food and drinks.

Local, national & international talent meet

We’re proud to spotlight Atlanta and Georgia filmmakers, helping audiences discover the talent and stories in their own community.

We also welcome filmmakers from across the country and around the world. Bringing local and visiting filmmakers together creates opportunities to exchange ideas, share experiences, and find future collaborators.

The films are just the beginning

We’re planning special events throughout the four days, including filmmaker meetups, conversations, parties, and neighborhood gatherings.

Share the story behind your film. Meet someone whose work you admire. Grab a meal with new friends between screenings.

Our goal is to give you time and space to connect, with Little 5 Points as part of the experience.

Special events and the full schedule will be announced as the festival takes shape.

A new festival from Atlanta Film Series

Little 5 Points Film Festival is presented by the Atlanta Film Series, the team behind Atlanta Shortsfest, Atlanta Underground Film Festival, Atlanta Documentary Film Festival and Atlanta HorrorFest.

We’re bringing 25 years of experience presenting independent films to a new event rooted in the character and community of Little 5 Points.

Our aim is to present your work with care, connect you with audiences, and create a festival you want to attend.
